A flash flood suddenly strikes a mountain village, making the crisis imminent. Rescue team captain Lin Yi and village doctor Lao Wei hike twenty miles through the night, traversing mountains and streams amidst heavy rain and floods. They search and respond door to door, safely transferring grandmothers, left-behind children, and solitary elderly people to safe zones. People support each other and weather the difficult times together. At dawn, the villagers reunite safely, paying tribute to every rescuer who rushes against the current to guard lives.
