Modern girl Lin Yueshi, due to her sister passing away with lingering grievances, received guidance from the True Wu Emperor at the edge of a cliff and time-traveled to the Xuan Wu Dynasty. She discovered that Consort Xue in the palace looked identical to her sister, and resolved to do everything in her power to protect her. After entering the palace, Lin Yueshi used modern medical skills to defuse numerous poisoning plots and frame-ups, developing mutual affection with Prince Shen Si of Jingyuan, and supporting each other with her sister. However, the imperial court and harem were treacherous and unpredictable, with villains like Liu Qing and Zhou Waner constantly conspiring and making trouble. Consort Xue ascended to become Empress, but was consumed by the desire for power, repeatedly plotting against everyone. Having experienced palace coups, betrayal, and sacrifice, everyone became a victim of power.
