At 68, Hao Guizhen sells her old family home to establish the Chunhe Seedling Nursery Base, strictly upholding seedling cultivation standards and record-keeping procedures. When faced with a series of malicious schemes, including stolen seedlings, switched labels, and destroyed drip-irrigation systems that ruin her plants, she remains composed, gathers evidence, and refuses to compromise her principles. Step by step, she uncovers the web of financial interests behind the sabotage, clears her name, and recovers her orders. She establishes a traceability system for seedling trays, helps her neighbors learn technical skills and secure stable employment, and ultimately signs a long-term seedling supply agreement with a cooperative. Through discipline and hard work, she builds a meaningful and fulfilling career in her later years.
