Having served like an ox and a horse for ten years in the immortal cultivation world's sect, only to be scapegoated and expelled as a good-for-nothing, Jiang Chen awakens a "game system" capable of transporting Earth players entirely to become disciples. Players topping up money turn into sect points, and dying once deducts one. He relies on sect points to exchange for cultivation and grows stronger and stronger. He originally wanted to scam and squeeze these "leeks" dry to take revenge and wipe out his grudges, but amidst the sincere cries of "Master," he scammed his way into a real sect and a real bond.
