Chen Yang time-travels to become an eighteenth-tier obscure star loathed by the entire internet, waking up right in a hotel room where a wealthy woman is trying to sexually proposition him. Looking at the wealthy woman in front of him, the Mencius he studied ten years ago hits him right between the eyebrows: wealth and honor cannot corrupt. He flees on the spot and even casually calls the police, trapping his cheating ex-girlfriend and the movie emperor inside a luxury car. For a three-hundred-thousand-per-episode appearance fee, he bravely crashes the dating reality show Heartbeat Pompom. While others talk about love and romance on dating shows, he runs past NPCs in a haunted house grabbing their iron basin to sing red songs, and when beauties throw themselves into his arms, his immediate response is that wise men do not enter the river of love.
