Xie Yanci served as a househusband for seven years while his wife, Ji Tang, awakened the memories of the Nine Heavens Xuanü, and their beloved dog Niannian transformed into the Zhaoning Divine Dragon. Deeming him a mortal, they abandoned him and ascended to the Immortal Realm. Lifting the dust cover, he discovered that the so-called Immortal Realm was merely an ecological tank in his own home. Using various daily tools to regulate the immortal realm within the tank, he found that the mastermind Immortal Emperor was using the shackles on Ji Tang and the Divine Dragon to break the seal and descend upon the mortal world. Relying on his father's lingering soul, his wedding ring, and seven years of mortal bonds, he figured out a countermeasure, sealed the Immortal Emperor with triple shackles, successfully rescued Ji Tang and Niannian, and the family of three returned to mortal life.
