Twelve years ago, the down-and-out youth Chu Yuan received the grace of a meal from Lin Xueyuan. Twelve years later, to repay the favor, he became a matrilocal son-in-law, entering the precarious Lin family restaurant and hiding his true identity as the "Jiuzhou Culinary Sovereign" and peerless divine doctor. Facing the covetousness of the Dingsheng Group led by Gu Ming toward the Lin family's century-old shop and secret recipes, in the desperate situation where his wife Lin Xueyuan was bullied and the restaurant was smashed and looted, Chu Yuan used his matchless culinary skills to crush the villains in a public arena and exposed the financial and food scandals of the Dingsheng Group. In the end, the couple jointly guarded the family business and the debt of gratitude.
