Traveling alone, Qiao Wanning meets Zhou Xubai in a soft sleeper compartment on a train, and the two set off together on an RV trip through the Western Regions. As they spend time together, they gradually develop feelings for each other and unexpectedly uncover the long-buried story of the flash flood at Hongdaokou. Zhou Xubai turns out to be the boy Qiao Wanning's grandfather rescued years ago. The desire to repay a debt of gratitude and misunderstandings surrounding their family identities complicate their relationship. Together, they uncover the sealed truth, free themselves from the shackles of gratitude, acknowledge their mutual love, and embark hand in hand on the lives they choose for themselves.
