Designer Shen Yan traveled to Jiangcheng on a business trip, where she accidentally met folk meteorological observer Zhou Mufen suffering from heatstroke. After handing over medicine, she was warned by the elderly woman that a typhoon was approaching. Facing the ridicule of others, workplace unemployment pressure, and her sister's ties, Shen Yan withstood everyone's incomprehension and chose to avoid danger. The super typhoon hit the airport as scheduled, and she, along with Zhou Mufen, ground staff Lin Wan, and workplace rival Su Man, joined hands to save themselves in the ruins. After the disaster, Shen Yan refused to let the firm exploit her heroic deeds for fame and fortune, and discovered that the meteorological warning had been artificially suppressed. After that, several people put aside past conflicts, went deep into the community to popularize disaster prevention knowledge, exposed procedural loopholes, and protected the neighborhood and ordinary people with the power of ordinary people.
