I Gave Two Thousand Eight in Wedding Gifts, the Boss Only Returned 250
Song Jianguo, who became a security guard after retiring from the military, gave his boss's daughter a 2888 cash gift for her college entrance celebration. However, when it was time for his own top-scoring son's celebration banquet, the boss only returned 250 yuan. Coupled with the boss's usual taunts and this latest humiliation, Song Jianguo resolved to quit his job. Yet the boss went so far as to frame him for leaking company secrets, scheming to send him to prison. In the end, this provoked the fury of the company's behind-the-scenes investors, causing partnerships to pull out. The once-mighty company scattered like birds and beasts overnight. Meanwhile, Song Jianguo moved into the house awarded to his top-scoring son, starting a brand-new life.
