An abandoned pond in Qingxi Village has been dark, smelly, and a nuisance to residents for years, causing constant neighborhood friction. Lin Yu, a young man who resigned from a well-paying job in the city to return to his hometown, is determined to restore the pond, but faces skepticism from villagers and opposition from the elderly. During a heavy rainstorm emergency, Lin Yu steps forward to protect the villagers' homes, touching the stubborn neighbors. Afterwards, the entire village unites, working together to transform the ecological pond as the once-smelly pool turns into a beautiful rural landscape. Youths guard their homeland with their original aspiration, neighbors put aside barriers to help one another, and the transformation of the small pond reveals the warmest undertone of rural revitalization.
