Lin Jun, an entrepreneur and company president, sees his marriage to his wife, Yu He, fall apart. His greedy mother-in-law, Yu Qingqiu, wants to remarry a much younger man, Li Dong, and pressures her daughter to hand over the 30% stake in Lin Jun's company that he gave her. But Li Dong is actually a romance-investment scammer, secretly backed by Zhu Dongyuan of Dongyuan Group, who is plotting to seize the company.
