Qi Nan unexpectedly travels into a romance novel, becoming a villainous supporting character who meets a tragic end. To avoid the tragic fate laid out in the original story, she completely changes her way of doing things, lays down her hostility, and treats the female lead Xia Ningqi with genuine kindness, striving to build favor with her to save her life. However, her overly enthusiastic approach to interacting disrupts the original story's direction; the plot veers entirely off its preset course, and an unexpected new tale unfolds.
