Protagonist Lu Yu was initially just an ordinary person who failed to awaken pet beast talent. After awakening the system and completing missions, he successfully awakened SSS-grade talent, and with the help of mutated pet beasts beyond common sense cultivated by the system, grew from initially mocked "black shop owner" into a legendary figure creating a new era of pet beasts. He broke the aristocratic monopoly on pet beast resources, giving ordinary people the opportunity to contract mythological-grade pet beasts, and further uncovered the secrets of the ancient pet beast civilization.
