In 2726, a zombie virus sweeps across the globe, reducing cities to ruins. While fleeing, a young man named Lin Chen activates an apocalyptic survival system and builds an impregnable steel fortress centered around the Holiday Hotel. Guided by his own pragmatic principles, he decisively purges troublemakers from within, repels successive assaults by rebel forces and surprise attacks from a genetic conglomerate, discovers medical talent in Wen He, recruits Shen Xi as his trusted right-hand woman, and brings an elite military unit under his command. Eventually, after reaching the system's maximum level, he leads the survivors in rebuilding human civilization across the wasteland.
