Pet groomer Lin Zhiwei shares an apartment with three roommates. When their new roommate, Meng Jiao, moves in with her boyfriend, Gao Lei, she tries to dump all the work of caring for the golden retriever and cat on everyone else, expecting them to be free pet caretakers. Tang You is afraid of getting dirty and initially refuses to touch the pets, but is eventually forced to learn responsibility. Meanwhile, Meng Jiao puts on a friendly smile while secretly shifting the dirty work onto the most accommodating roommate. As the three roommates navigate their disagreements and learn to compromise, each grows and learns to take responsibility for both the pets and themselves.
