There, they acquire extraordinary abilities and forge genuine bonds of friendship and trust. Together, they thwart the sinister schemes of Wutong Temple, earning the respect of the local people. Later, Du Ke visits a spirit-treasure market, rescues his former mentor, and takes on the responsibilities entrusted to him by his master's lineage, growing stronger with every trial. Upon learning that Su Qiluo has fallen into danger because of family disputes, he immediately rushes to Yunzhou and joins forces with his companion to save her. Reunited after a long separation, Du Ke chooses to stand by Su Qiluo as they face her family's trials together, fulfilling his promise to protect her.
