Lu Yuanhai worked on his son-in-law Wang Kai's fishing boat for five years. Just because he was extremely thirsty and drank half a bottle of mineral water meant for reception, he was publicly fined 10,000 yuan. Feeling disheartened, he dropped the helm, took three old partners, repaired an old wooden boat, and went solo. Wang Kai constantly threw obstacles in his way—cutting off sales channels, shutting off power, and casting destructive fishing nets—only to have Lu Yuanhai resolve every single one. Relying on his genuine skills, the veteran captain won the trust of fish market owner Su He, ultimately bought a large ship, and settled down with Su He on Qingyu Island.
