During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, Li Chaoyang, the newly appointed director of a pedestrian street's operations company, inspects the market disguised as a tourist. Zhang Daqiang, a fruit shop owner, notices his out-of-town accent and conspires with Liu Gang to cheat him by tampering with the durian's weight. When Li Chaoyang accurately points out that the amount of flesh is inconsistent with the stated weight and demands that it be weighed again, Zhang Daqiang makes excuses and kicks away the discarded shell to destroy the evidence. Calmly and patiently gathering clues, Li Chaoyang demonstrates the professionalism and composure of a capable manager. This consumer dispute becomes the first major test of his tenure, setting the stage for a clash between rules and integrity.
