Sheng Wan and Lu Jingchen once separated due to a misunderstanding. Years later, the two unexpectedly reunited on a film set. Sheng Wan appeared calm on the surface, but in her heart she had never let go of the truth of what happened back then; while Lu Jingchen secretly protected her on one hand and investigated the behind-the-scenes conspiracy that led to their rupture on the other. Sheng Wan was framed by someone, and Lu Jingchen arrived just in time to rescue her from danger. As the investigation deepened, they discovered that both the misunderstanding from back then and the framing today were surprisingly connected to the same person behind the scenes.
