A thousand years ago, the ancient Zhuoyuan wreaked havoc. Immortal Lord Xie Qingheng sealed it with his own body, losing all his immortal power and falling into the mortal world, while the lingering malignant Qi of Zhuoyuan, Xuanjin, bided its time. Yun Xiu, a maiden of the reclusive spirit clan possessing the rare spirit-crossing power, stepped out of Lingxi Valley to find the spiritual essence treasure lost by her clan. In the turbulent mortal world where turbid malice bred, Yun Xiu accidentally met Xie Qingheng, who carried the shackles of destiny. Traveling together, they joined hands to purify the evil Qi of the mortal realm and track down the traces of Xuanjin, breaking the ice and falling in love as they accompanied each other day and night. Breaking free from the shackles of heavenly destiny and confronting crises, they ultimately protected the peace of the three realms with their spiritual hearts and immortal bones, guarding the rivers and mountains year after year in pure joy.
