After three years of grinding through the 996 work schedule in Hangzhou, an overworked office worker falls ill and gets dumped by his gold-digging girlfriend. He returns to his hometown and activates the County Revitalization System, which grants him 50 million yuan every day, exclusively for spending within his county. He revitalizes a car dealership and an unfinished shopping plaza, outmaneuvers local bullies and his ex-girlfriend's provocations, builds an industrial park and fresh-food supermarkets to break industry monopolies, and puts an end to online rumors. He secures overseas agricultural product orders, provides homes and jobs for affected residents, and creates employment for tens of thousands. After the system upgrades to a daily allowance of 100 million yuan, his next target is the provincial capital.
