New employee Xu Zhiyi repeatedly has her packed lunches secretly eaten by her coworker, Zheng Chunmei. When she turns to her supervisor, Meng Xueqin, for help, Meng merely tries to smooth things over and urges her to accept the loss and keep the peace. Relying on her relationship with Meng, her cousin, Zheng Chunmei grows increasingly brazen, not only stealing Xu Zhiyi's food but also deliberately destroying her lunchbox. After repeated attempts to tolerate the behavior fail, Xu Zhiyi prepares an extremely spicy meal for her personal lunch and attaches a conspicuous warning label. Zheng Chunmei ignores the warning and steals from it again, ultimately suffering the consequences herself. Xu Zhiyi stands her ground and uses the facts to fight back against workplace freeloading disguised as entitlement.
