After retiring from the business world as a legendary figure in Daxia, Qin Feng settles into a peaceful life in Yucheng with his adopted daughter, Qin Mengmeng. Their quiet life is disrupted by a prank show run by wealthy troublemakers from the capital. Host Zhang Yaqing distracts Qin Feng, who is away handling a rebellion, and fabricates a story that he has sold his daughter and needs a kidney transplant because he has cancer. Unable to reach her father by phone, Mengmeng believes the lies and seeks help from the leaders of Daxia's most powerful factions. At the direction of the show's investors, the Four Young Masters of the Capital, Zhang Yaqing invents further lies about a car accident, emergency surgery, and Qin Feng's death. The powerful figures' frantic rescue efforts send the livestream's popularity soaring, leaving the production team panicking. When Qin Feng finally returns, the director abuses his influence to humiliate him on camera and force him to kneel, only to have Qin Feng's subordinates beat him up.
