In a fictional virtual Blue Star planet, Chen Yun was proposing to his beloved Gu Yutong when he was swallowed by a giant beast, being reborn one year ago and transforming into a small loach in the aquatic market. Wanting to protect Gu Yutong, Chen Yun relies on his own efforts all the way, growing and evolving from a loach into a giant boa, a dragon whale, a mosasaurus, and ultimately mutating into a Torch Dragon. Along the way, he befriends a ginseng doll and a small fish, fighting against the Sakura Organization that creates mutated monsters. Relying on an indomitable spirit in adversity, Chen Yun overcomes numerous difficulties, uncovers and thwarts the conspiracy of the Sakura Organization, eradicates the man-made mutation crisis, and finally restores his human body to stay together with Gu Yutong and protect the Earth.
