Scarlet mist pours from fissures in the sky, and the world's established order collapses in an instant. Sixteen-year-old Lin Yan takes the college entrance exam early and achieves outstanding results. He then sets off with his parents and two older sisters, a family of five, in a rented RV. By a stroke of luck, he activates the Starship Evolution System, allowing the RV to undergo continuous upgrades and gradually transform into a sturdy, heavily armored vehicle built for extreme cold. One catastrophic season follows another: bitter cold freezes the land, and mutated beasts lurk in hiding. Lin Yan awakens a spatial ability and uses his power of deduction to avoid danger and gather survival supplies. Relying on one another and standing united, the family struggles along frozen, desolate roads in search of hope for survival.
