Modern young man Li Xingzhou transmigrates to the Great Wilderness. Emerging from a stone egg, he is reborn as a fledgling Golden-Winged Roc. Starving and freezing, he unexpectedly awakens the ability to devour and evolve, allowing him to seize the bloodlines and powers of the demon beasts he consumes. In the perilous mountain forests, he meets the kind-hearted little Azure Bird, Xiao Qing. Li Xingzhou struggles to grow through the aid of spiritual fruits, but encounters violent bodily mutations during his evolution. Fighting and transforming in the face of desperate adversity, the once-weak fledgling gradually embarks on the path to becoming a mighty ancient divine bird.
