A 21st-century science and engineering PhD student, Lin Chen, accidentally crossed over to the Dajing Dynasty, finding himself among the displaced people at the bottom of society. Relying on modern knowledge, he made salt and smelted iron, created glassware and refined soap, developed medicine to save the myriad people, and forged firearms and artillery to sweep away powerful enemies. He stirred up the court's winds and clouds, captured the royal family's heart, campaigned in all directions, step by step pacifying all nations, and finally ascended to the Dajing imperial throne!
