Lin Zheng, 25, is an ordinary noodle-puller working in a restaurant kitchen. His father, a compulsive gambler, abandoned his family and children. His mother is seriously ill, and even his younger sister, who depends on him for support, is repeatedly bullied by debt collectors. Already struggling to survive, Lin Zheng suffers another blow when his ex-girlfriend leaves him without hesitation.
