Rice for a Good Wife: When Staying Together in a Dilapidated House
Zhao Ce, a modern young man, travels through time and becomes a poor scholar. With thirty jin of grain, he marries Su Cai'er, a girl shunned by others because of her unusual eyes. The two make their home in an old, leaky house, undeterred by the gossip around them, and find warmth and comfort in each other's company. Drawing on his modern knowledge, Zhao Ce seeks ways to make a living, while gentle yet resilient Su Cai'er quietly stands by his side.
