After transmigrating to the Wilderness Domain and joining the human sect Dao Xuan, Wang Teng awakens the Myriad Heavens Role-Playing System. When the demon race launches a massive invasion of the sect, he transforms into a human Great Emperor for the first time, using nothing but a trace of imperial might to intimidate countless demons and slay a Saint. He subsequently unlocks the ability to play the Void Great Emperor, gaining access to the Heavenly Emperor Scripture and the Thunder Emperor's Secret Art. Despite having only a humble Spirit Transformation cultivation level, he sets up formations to exterminate demons and ventures alone into a Saint's sea of consciousness, uncovering a shocking secret about the seal imprisoning evil demons from beyond the domain. He single-handedly repairs the seal, defeats the Nirvana Flood Dragon King possessed by remnants of an evil demon's soul in an ancient arena battle, and resolves conflicts among the various races through the Void Emperor's Dao. Thus begins his journey to seek the ruins of ancient Great Emperors and restore the glory of humanity.
