The Person Who Blocked the Road to Demand Money, Ended Up Paying 138,000 Himself
Liu Zhiyuan spends 900,000 yuan of his own money to pave a road up the tea-growing mountain for the entire village, but Ma Changshun blocks the excavator and demands 200,000 yuan. Rather than give in, Liu Zhiyuan chooses to spend an additional 180,000 yuan rerouting the road around Ma's property. When the spring tea harvest arrives, everyone else's trucks can drive straight to their tea gardens, while Ma has to carry his harvest by hand. He then falls for a cheap construction scam, leaving the road unfinished and causing him to miss his orders. In the end, Ma pays 138,000 yuan out of his own pocket to build the road to proper standards. Only then does he realize the value of having a road delivered right to his doorstep, a benefit he stubbornly drove away himself.
