Workers are tempted by fake high salaries, abandoning their conscience and foreman Lu Zhicheng to switch jobs, only to face layer after layer of deductions and shoddy labor protection, and then encountering a black-hearted boss who runs away, plunging into a desperate survival situation. With nowhere left to turn, the group turns back to ask for help, but Lu Zhicheng does not simply give handouts, instead guiding everyone to rely on evidence and the law to safeguard their own rights and interests. After going through hardships, the workers have a sudden awakening, casting aside greed, strictly observing rules to work down-to-earth, knowing how to refuse pies falling from the sky, and guarding their blood-and-sweat income and human dignity with practical hard work.
