Lin Yanci spent six years helping his girlfriend, Wen Yining, build her business. After securing a major project, he watched the credit go to a newcomer at the celebration banquet, while he received nothing but a box of cherries. Heartbroken, he resigned and joined Dingzhu Construction. When his former company's project collapsed and its cash flow broke down, Wen Yining begged him for help, but he refused. Jiang Chengxuan fled with the company's money. Wen Yining spread rumors to smear Lin Yanci, but he presented evidence and sued her, driving her company into bankruptcy. He led his former team to new heights, was promoted to vice president, and found love with Xu Qingyu, who trusted him.
