Desperate Escort: Crossing the Sea of the Dead
To raise money for his father's medical treatment, Li Yan, a former special forces captain of the peacekeeping force, takes on a 500,000 escort mission to take the willful female CEO Su Ruyan across the treacherous Sea of the Dead. Storms, sharks, venomous snakes, wild beasts, man-eating flowers, and pirate pursuits strike one after another. Facing narrow escapes from death, the two transition from mutual disdain to mutual trust. As the truth behind the death of Su Ruyan's mother surfaces, it implicates tens of billions in smuggling transactions and deeper secrets involving her uncle Su Zhenhai. With the final destination of the escort near, the real trap has just begun, forcing Li Yan to choose between family, promises, and Su Ruyan's life and death.
