Ling Zhaohua, a space-wielding esper from the 25th century, has her soul transported into the body of Princess Zhaohua, whose kingdom has fallen. After her homeland is destroyed and her parents are brutally killed, she is treated as a gift for the barbarian chieftain Jiao Liang. Refusing to be at anyone's mercy, she joins forces with the loyal general Pei Xiao and her faithful servant Luo Ci, infiltrating Liang City, now occupied by the Jiao tribe, to rescue loyal subjects and stockpile supplies. With modern equipment stored in her space and extraordinary strategic intelligence, she sets enemy warehouses ablaze, outwits the city's defenses, and shoots Jiao Liang from the city tower, throwing Liang City into chaos. In this turbulent age, she refuses to depend on anyone. Swearing to seize Gefeng and establish her own power, she uses her own strength to give the people of Qing a chance to survive and rewrite the tragic song of a chaotic era.
