I Bought a Skewer of Candied Hawthorns, and Got Cursed by the Entire Internet Until I Was Fired
Li Shizhen, a legal aid lawyer with ten years of experience, buys candied hawthorns during a mediation session because his blood sugar has dropped. A dissatisfied client secretly films him and maliciously reports him by taking the footage out of context. The video triggers a wave of online attacks, and his employer fires him under public pressure. Having lost a decade-long career, he joins a top law firm, where he continues to hone his legal expertise while gathering evidence to uncover the whole truth. He successfully fights back against those who falsely accused him, clears his name, and remains true to his original commitment to legal aid.
