Qinghe Middle School's geography club is facing disbandment, and old maps and old school magazines are about to be treated as garbage. Club president Tu Yan joins hands with art student Tu Cai, literature club member Wen Wen, and school magazine editor Xiao Bi, alongside retired teachers, maintenance workers, and other partners inside and outside the school, to found the campus hand-painted guide club. They rescue abandoned materials, overcome severe difficulties such as scarce passenger flow, rain-damaged works, and outside skepticism, and polish contents like hand-painted guides and campus story pages. The project gradually gains recognition, forming an old map recycling system, organizing heritage manuals, extending from the campus to the community, giving waste maps a new lease of life, and passing on campus memories and hand-painting skills from generation to generation.
