Zhao Xiaoxin, an employee at the Shuanghe Township Building Materials Factory, deposits a sum of money at the Yingbin Hotel. His colleague Sun Dawei wants to use Zhao's account to treat everyone to a meal and show off, but Zhao has already instructed the cashier to recognize the personal seal, not the person, making Sun lose face in front of everyone. Sun holds a grudge and later forges Zhao's personal seal in an attempt to fraudulently withdraw his savings. After his scheme is exposed, he joins forces with a shady businessman named Qian Wanshan and repeatedly plots to sabotage factory production and steal its orders. Zhao Xiaoxin remains calm and resourceful, travels south to find suppliers, gathers evidence of their crimes, and joins forces with his fellow workers to bring the wrongdoers to justice. Once the turmoil subsides, the building materials factory expands and upgrades its operations. Zhao Xiaoxin achieves success in his career, finds lasting love with Shen Yueyue, and the entire factory shares in the profits, ushering in a brighter new life.
