In 1984, gravely ill Niu Bayi is driven out of his home by his biological father and his vicious stepmother, receiving nothing but a leaky, dilapidated boat. At the end of his rope, he awakens a god-tier ocean dimension, gains a spiritual spring that strengthens his body, and discovers he can control seawater to draw in the finest seafood. Despite the whole village's ridicule, his childhood sweetheart, He Zhenzhen, remains devoted to him and secretly steals a fishing boat to help him put out to sea. Niu Bayi not only survives a massive storm but also humiliates his greedy relatives with a boatload of premium seafood. In the end, he builds a seafood cannery, marries Zhenzhen in grand style, and becomes an international fishing magnate.
