Professor Shen Qinglan privately sponsored poor student Lin Yutong for three years, only to be reported by the other party with a recording and thus disciplined. Experiencing this, Shen Qinglan felt disheartened, gave up personal private donations, and focused on promoting an open and standardized support mechanism. Lin Yutong, having lost sponsorship, encountered a scam by a training agency, lost money, and made a living by setting up a street stall, learning to be independently responsible through the tempering of reality. The story illustrates that kindness must have boundaries, and helping others relies even more on institutional rules.
