A thunderstorm caused the cold-faced CEO Leng Yan to turn into an Alaskan malamute. He lost his identity, wandered the streets, and was picked up and brought home by pet store owner Lin Qian as a stray dog. Lin Qian can see bullet comments leaking the plot: Leng Yan is the male lead, while she is merely an extra destined to exit the stage. Everyone is waiting for him to fall in love with the destined female lead, yet time and again he returns to Lin Qian's side—spending hundreds of millions when he is human, and risking his life to protect her when he is a dog. When the plot completely spirals out of control, Leng Yan finally understands that thunderstorm was not a punishment, but fate delivering him to the true female lead.
