The mischievous young master Gu Chen is more than his mother, Su Yi, can handle. Desperate for help, she spends one million yuan in incense-offering money to hire Xing Wanwan, a little Taoist girl the same age as her son. Using her Taoist magic, Xing Wanwan easily brings Gu Chen under control, and the two begin a daily life as a pair of bickering frenemies. As they grow closer, Gu Chen transforms from a little troublemaker into a responsible young man, while Xing Wanwan discovers the warmth of family. But the Gu family is hiding a dangerous secret. Gu Jingxuan is paralyzed from the waist down, and Xing Wanwan uses her Taoist abilities to heal him and resolve the family's crisis.
