Shen Zhaoxue, a fully accomplished Golden Immortal, is thrown by a system into a tragic romance novel, where she becomes the senior female disciple destined to be hated by everyone, have her spiritual roots ripped out, and see her entire family exterminated. Refusing to follow the script, she starts by turning her sect upside down, protecting her family, taking disciples, and humiliating the scheming original heroine. However, she discovers that Xuan Yu, the original novel's world-destroying villain, is actually the black cat she raised 30,000 years ago. After recognizing each other, the two join forces to investigate the massacre of the Fuguang family and the conspiracy surrounding Guixu, uncover the truth behind the Heavenly Dao's scripted fate, and forcibly transform a tragic romance into an empowering female-led story.
