Shen Qinghe, a single mother, spends all her savings on a school-district apartment to provide for her mother's retirement and secure an education for her daughter. Unexpectedly, after kindly allowing her aunt's family to register their household at the address, she is betrayed by her own relatives. Her aunt's family tricks her mother into signing documents, takes over the property, and drives the elderly woman out, while concealing a shocking scam: selling seven school enrollment agreements for a single school-district apartment to rake in profits. The heroine abandons pointless arguments and strikes back decisively with hard evidence.
