I Refuse to Be Exploited, My Own Backer Is Myself
After starting her own business, designer Lin Xia faces endless demands from her cousin, Li Kai, while her aunt emotionally blackmails her by bringing up past favors, and her mother initially takes the relatives' side. When a massive project crisis strikes, Lin Xia gathers evidence of the wrongdoers' crimes and joins forces with fellow designer Su Nian to turn the situation around against all odds. Together, they collaborate with rural artisans to create formaldehyde-free guesthouses, break free from the chains of family exploitation, and carve out their own path through female solidarity and their own abilities.
