Shuangjiang, a university lecturer, buys a new home for her father after his heart surgery. Just after moving in, she is confronted by her neighbor, Feng Guirong, who pressures her to sell the property at a bargain price. Egged on by her husband, Han Zhiyuan, a corporate legal director, Feng repeatedly harasses Shuangjiang by maliciously ringing her doorbell late at night. She even sells the spare access card that Shuangjiang kindly gave her. After repeated attempts to report the harassment to the police prove fruitless, Shuangjiang relies on surveillance equipment to preserve every piece of evidence. Han Zhiyuan then hires online trolls to launch a cyberbullying campaign against her. Shuangjiang gathers all the evidence and exposes the truth at a corporate press conference. As the case gains momentum, it uncovers multiple crimes, including extortion, false accusations, and domestic violence.
