The real princess Song Zhiyi drifted among the common people. After her mother died a miserable death, she entrusted her illegitimate son to the child's biological father, General Shen Yichuan, while she mistakenly entered the mansion as a slave. During their time together, Shen Yichuan fell deeply in love with Zhiyi, which drew repeated plots and framed charges from the wicked fake princess Anle and the Marquis's heir. Shen Yichuan was willing to ruin his future and fight to the death to protect her, until finally Song Zhiyi's true identity as a princess was recognized by the emperor through an arm birthmark and a token. The sovereign severely punished the villains and bestowed a marriage upon the two of them, and the family of three finally achieved fulfillment.
