Hoping to make up for the time he has missed, Yang Jianwen helps his son find a partner, secure a bidding contract, and gain access to valuable connections and resources. However, outsiders see his actions as mere boasting and pretentiousness, bringing Yang Haonan even more ridicule. Eventually, Yang Jianwen publicly reveals his identity as a chief engineer, resolves all of his son's troubles, and the father and son reconcile.
