Before the blizzard and flash flood natural disasters arrived, Changbaishan youth Chen Ping'an promptly sensed the abnormal celestial phenomena, and led his family and educated youth Lin Ruoxue to evacuate to a high and safe area to avoid danger. Braving the snow, he ventured deep into the mountain forest to find precious medicinal herbs, and along the way rescued distressed comrades and medicinal herb merchants. After coming down the mountain, he assisted in investigating the problem of withheld disaster relief supplies, returned home in glory with a large batch of living supplies, and relieved the villagers of the entire village. Sharing weal and woe, he and Lin Ruoxue understood each other's hearts and pledged their lifetime together, jointly leading the villagers to start a new life of rebuilding their homes and running towards a good day.
